Lee Lambert is the Executive Director of the Cascade Bicycle Club. But before that, he was a hobbyist cyclist who found himself riding from Seattle to Portland and really soaking in one of the best times of his life.
He did the ride again, and again. He even did it on a tandem with his wife. So it seemed only natural to get involved even more with the Cascade Bicycle Club, the outfit responsible for putting on the event. As it turns out, the club does a whole lot more than simply host a ride. Community engagement and infrastructure lobbying come part and parcel with the expansion of bicycle riding in the northwest, and Lambert is heavily involved in the group’s efforts.
